Great Time!

Few days ago me and my filipina friend and her daughter went to this wedding shop to find a simple dress for my hubby's sons wedding. Finally, after trying several dress we find one but it needs big alteration coz I didnt get my size.We were all excited for the coming events and Im looking forward to it.This will be me my first formal gathering wherein I gotta met the other side of the family and friends. We left here friday morning because there will be dinner rehearsal and have to be there early. The weather was not good at that time and its too chilly and I can't help myself to be scared. It got frighten because the road is wet and slippery a lot of things will happen in a short span of time and so I didn't shut my eyes off in the street. So what I did,I've talk to my husband and listen to my Cd while he is driving.I know he is a good driver but I don't trust people who drive thier car recklessly and so as the weather.Fortunately we arrived in Cincinnati safe for almost 3 hours drive.

The place for the wedding is incredibly beautiful. It was an old church and abandoned and was converted as a wedding reception, birthdays and other special occasion. As I look at those good structure church can't help myself to feel anxious. It was such ashame and a waste looking at those 135 years old church as house of prayer turn out to be a place of fun and entertainment. The belief and religion were all doomed.
I was fascinated watching the Altar and all the gigantic engraved mirror and asking myself how those people during 1870 built this church as beautiful as it was before.Anyway, the wedding is good, the bride is radiant and the groom is proud.Everything turns out good and well and I enjoyed the whole evening.

Next morning,we wake up early and packed our clothes and go back home. But I told Ralph we will drop by first at International market. It was a huge place and I got the chance to met a filipina my kababayan in that store. We gave each others number and talked in a little while and then we left.It was such a great feeling to meet our Kababayan in this strange foreign land.Sa Ashalnd kasi kunti lang filipina and I only have one filipina friend. So every time I met someone does look like a filipino I don't hesitate to approach them hehehe Sabi nga nila blood is thicker than water ganun seguro ma feel ko pag makakita ako ng filipino I feel so happy parang kapamilya at kapuso heheh parang TV channel sa pilipinas hehehe.kababaw talag ng kaligayahan ko.

I will post some of the wedding pics here.....
